Osteria Mattone to Celebrate Sixth Anniversary on Nov. 10

Twirl, sip, and sing “Happy Birthday” to Osteria Mattone as it celebrates its sixth anniversary with a special large format dinner on Sunday, November 10. For $55 per person, including tax and gratuity, gather your neighbors, friends and loved ones for family-style fare that will transport your taste buds to Rome and back. Curated by chef Eric Sell, the prix-fixe, three-course menu will pay homage to the restaurant’s most celebrated dishes of the past. Osteria understands that decisions are hard, so there’s no need to choose just one dish from each course, as all nine dishes below will be prepared family-style and tailored to the size of the party:

Primi:

  • Braised Pork: milk-braised heritage pork, herbed ricotta, Tuscan bread, salsa verde
  • Beet Salad: roasted baby beets, frisee, walnuts, goat cheese, baby carrots, chive vinaigrette
  • Polenta: creamy polenta with sausage and peppers 

Secondi:

  • Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe: pecorino, cracked black pepper
  • Springer Mtn. Farms Chicken: stuffed with roasted chestnuts, truffle, porcini mushroom, veal sausage
  • Whole Roasted Branzino: roasted Mediterranean sea bass, artichokes, cipollini onions, mushrooms
  • Chef’s Vegetable Plate: roasted red peppers and eggplant, grilled broccolini and zucchini 

Dolci:

  • Budino: salted caramel bread pudding, fior di latte gelato
  • Italian Rainbow Cookies: almond, raspberry, Nutella

The two dinner seatings will take place at 5:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., and an abridged menu will be available for walk-ins.
