Pieology Pizzeria’s Plant Protein Pizza

“We believe in offering the best of health and indulgence. Our gluten-free cauliflower crust has a hint of cheese and brown rice for the perfect flavor and crunch, and we offer three high-quality plant proteins: Spicy Italian Sausage Rounds, Beef Meatball, and Diced Chicken. These vegan, cholesterol-free, and non-GMO premium toppings taste like meat, but are made with veggies. This pie is topped with fresh veggies and has a zesty kick from the pesto drizzle.”

Lions & Tigers & Squares Detroit Pizza

Lions & Tigers & Squares Detroit Pizza’s Mustard Pie

“This is one of our best-known and most unique pies. The crispy, caramelized cheese crust is a great contrast to the spicy, zingy mustard and, although people are sometimes skeptical, they turn into believers once they taste it. The Mustard Pie was adapted from another pizza joint. We made it our own with a combination of spicy, salty, creamy, and tangy ingredients.”

MOD Pizza’s Kevin

“The Kevin pizza came out of an ideation session with a group of our store general managers. We were thinking about fall, and pumpkin is obviously associated with that time of year. The pizza features a pumpkin purée base, topped with fresh peppery arugula, creamy mozzarella, Canadian bacon, Mama Lil’s Sweet Hot Pickled Peppas, and finished with a drizzle of balsamic fig glaze. While in the past we’ve focused on seasonal offerings, we’re now creating pizzas with an eye toward unique ingredient combinations or unique twists on the classics.”
