Feroce has been named the “Best New Italian Restaurant Opening Worldwide” by Gambero Rosso in the publication’s annual International awards for the best Italian food abroad in their “Top Italian Restaurant Special Awards 2020.

Chef Will Artley Named Executive Chef at Hank & Mitzi’s

Chef Jamie Leeds’ JL Restaurant Group announced on October  it has appointed chef Will Artley as executive chef of its newest concept, Hank & Mitzi’s Italian Kitchen. Set to debut in early 2020 in the former Hank’s Pasta Bar space in Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia, the “come as you are” neighborhood restaurant and bar—named for Leeds’ beloved parents—will offer a seasonal take on regional Italian cuisine.

World’s Oldest Pizzeria Makes Its Hollywood Debut

Francesco Zimone openly admits that he was extremely naïve when he decided to open a 6,000-square-foot restaurant in Hollywood, California. “If I would have listened to one of the four or five hundred people who said I was crazy and turned me down, I wouldn’t be here today,” says Zimone, owner and designer of L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, which opened this past May in Hollywood.

Forthcoming Gelateria Creamalosa to Host Pop at Atlanta’s Hotel Clermont

Cremalosa, a forthcoming Decatur shop from gelato master and acclaimed Atlanta food writer Meridith Ford, will pop up on the rooftop at Hotel Clermont from 6-10 p.m. on Friday, October, 4.
